The Story Behind the Painting

Sometimes growth doesn’t feel beautiful while you’re in it.

Sometimes it feels messy, confusing, and quiet — like nothing is really changing at all. There are moments where you question yourself, where you feel lost, or like you’re still the same person you were before.

But underneath it, something is always growing.

This painting is about that kind of change — the kind you don’t always see straight away, but feel over time.

The flowers represent people, each one at a different stage of becoming. Some are open and full, standing strong in who they are. Others are still unfolding, still learning, still finding their place. None of them are behind. None of them are wrong. They are all exactly where they need to be.

Through my eyes, blooming isn’t about suddenly becoming perfect.
