Keira Graham is a talented 15-year-old Indigenous artist from Mparntwe (Alice Springs), NT, Australia. Fostered at the age of four by her loving parents, Tiffany and Ben, Keira has been raised in a culturally rich and supportive home alongside her siblings, Soloman and Millicent. With her father and siblings also being Aboriginal, Keira grew up in an environment where identity, culture, and creativity are embraced and celebrated. She holds cultural ties to the communities of Ti Tree and Tennant Creek, connections that remain an important part of her identity.
While Mparntwe has been home for most of her upbringing, Keira spent 18 months living underground in Coober Pedy, South Australia—an experience that not only shaped her perspective but also sparked a passion for Indigenous dot painting. During this time, she was homeschooled, giving her the freedom to dedicate more time to exploring and refining her artistic skills. It was in this setting that her unique and personal style began to emerge—an expression that continues to evolve. Now based in New South Wales, her creative journey continues to grow.
Completely self-taught, Keira’s paintings reflect her creativity, culture, and identity. While inspired by traditional Indigenous art, her work is distinctly her own—infused with meaning, modern influences, and a fresh perspective. Each piece carries deep connection to heritage, symbolism, and the world around her.
From a young age, Keira displayed an incredible talent for creativity—designing intricate cakes, mastering origami from memory, and excelling in sports. Over time, art became her primary focus. What began as a love for sketching anime transformed into a deeper form of self-expression—creating works that honour her culture while embracing her individuality.
Beyond painting, Keira is curious and full of life. She’s passionate about space, fashion, music, movies, and basketball, and dreams of one day exploring the world. Family remains her greatest support and inspiration, encouraging her growth both as an artist and a young woman.
Through each artwork, Keira shares her unique perspective and passion for Indigenous storytelling. Every piece is crafted with intention, creativity, and meaning—offering a glimpse into her world, one dot at a time.
