The Story Behind the Painting This painting is called The Way We Belong because, to me, belonging isn’t just about where you come from—it’s about who walks with you, who lifts you up, and how you connect with the world around you. While painting this piece, I kept thinking about how we all find our place in different ways. The circles remind me of safe places—times where I’ve felt supported, understood, or just happy.
